Privacy Policy

Databot values the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with Chilean personal data protection legislation, in particular Law 19.628 on the protection of private life and Law 21.096 on personal data protection.


ONE: INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

1.1 Personal Information: Databot collects and processes information for the operation, maintenance and provision of its services. This information may include email address, first name, last name, address and phone number, and any other personal information the user provides through use of Databot's services.

Databot collects personal information online when:

  • The user registers to use any of the services available on the platform.
  • The user uses the platform and its services.
  • The user submits questions, inquiries or comments, or contacts Databot.
  • The user requests information or materials.
  • The user provides information in chats, forums, uploads, or other interactive media.

1.2 Content and Communication: Databot collects and stores all comments, communications and conversations the user makes through the platform and services.

1.3 Cookies: Databot may use cookies and similar technology to improve the user experience and provide personalized services. These technologies collect anonymous information about the use of the platform and services. Users may configure their browser to refuse cookies if they wish.

1.4 Knowledge: Databot may use knowledge provided by the user through the platform to improve and personalize services. Knowledge may be visible to other users depending on the user's privacy settings.

1.5 Geographic Location Information: If the user accesses services through a mobile device, Databot may access and collect location data, but does not share personally identifiable information related to such data.

1.6 Device Identifiers: Databot may access and collect device identifiers on mobile devices to improve services, but does not share personally identifiable information related to such identifiers.


TWO: USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION.

2.1 Data Storage: Information will be stored confidentially and updated when necessary.

2.2 Use of Information: Databot will use information, including personal information, to fulfill data processing tasks, improve the user experience and provide services. Third-party advertising will not be conducted using users' personal information.

2.3 Transfers: Databot may transfer information to third parties with whom it maintains an employment or service relationship, guaranteeing the confidentiality of transferred information. In the event of a merger or acquisition, user information may be transferred to the resulting entity, subject to the commitments established in this Privacy Policy.

2.4 Email: Databot may send emails in relation to platform content and services, and also to provide information about products and services offered by Databot and/or commercially associated third parties.


THREE: PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURITY.

Databot takes reasonable measures to protect users' personal information against inappropriate use, loss, unauthorized access, modification and/or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so Databot does not guarantee that information will be free from unauthorized access or alterations.


FOUR: ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Users have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of their personal information. They may also request removal of their name and email from advertising databases. To exercise these rights, users may contact Databot at hola@databot.cl.


FIVE: THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SITES.

Databot may contain links to third-party websites. The user understands that by clicking on those links, they will be subject to the privacy policies of those third parties, not Databot. Databot is not responsible for the content or security of third-party websites.


SIX: GENERAL TERMS.

Databot may retain or disclose user information even after the user has deleted their account or the provision of services has ended, if necessary to comply with this Privacy Policy, applicable law, or to protect individuals or address technical or security issues.


SEVEN: MODIFICATIONS TO THE PRIVACY POLICY.

Databot reserves the right to review or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Modifications will take effect on the date of their publication on the platform. If the user continues to use the services after that date, they will be deemed to have accepted the modifications.


EIGHT: PRIVACY FOR MINORS.

Databot is not directed at minors and does not deliberately collect personal information from minors. If it is detected that personal information from a minor has been collected, Databot will take the necessary steps to delete such information.


NINE: INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER.

Databot user information is stored on servers of a third party contracted by Databot that provides Cloud Computing services. Such transfer is made to a country that meets adequate protection levels according to Chilean personal data protection legislation.


TEN: USE OF GOOGLE SERVICES.

Databot uses Google APIs for the following features:

  • Authentication: Databot allows signing in with Google (OAuth 2.0). We only access the name, email address and profile photo to identify the user within the platform.
  • Gmail: Databot may connect to the user's Gmail account to send and receive emails in the context of support ticket management. We do not store, sell or share email content with third parties. Use of information obtained through Gmail APIs is strictly limited to providing the service requested by the user.
  • Google Drive and Google Calendar: Databot may connect to the user's Google Drive and Google Calendar to automate workflows. Access is optional and limited to explicitly granted permissions.

The user may revoke Databot's access to their Google account at any time from https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the limited use requirements.
